Worlds Largest Cruise Brand Sails Into Uk

The UK's fastest growing cruise retail business has today brought the world's largest cruise brand to the UK, following a deal with a leading international travel company.


Cruise118.com signed a deal with World Travel Holdings last month, and today the businesses have joined forces to launch the world's most popular cruise holiday URL, www.Cruises.com, to the UK.


The Cruises.com brand in the UK will be driven by Cruise118 directors Mal Barritt and James Cole and sits alongside the company's current cruise retail offering.

Cruise118 was established in June 2008 by ex MyTravel directors Mal Barritt and James Cole.  The pair recognised a need in the market for a cruise retailer that offered exceptional service in line with that offered on board cruise ships - something which was distinctly lacking at the time.


Since its launch in 2008, Cruise118 has quickly established itself as the UK's fastest growing cruise retail business.  Last year, the company signed a multi-million pound deal with travelsupermarket.com to provide a white label cruise website for the price comparison site, and the directors have also launched three niche brands sixstarcruises.co.uk, sailfromuk.com and alaskaonly.com in response to consumer demands.
