M&D’s is set to open the doors to its family theme park for the first time this year for its exclusive preview weekend on 25 and 26 March.

Visitors have the chance to experience Scotland’s Theme Park’s host of fun-filled rides and adventures, which includes a new #funtastical ride suitable for some of the park’s younger visitors.

Musik Express joins M&D’s collection of family-friendly attractions which includes the iconic Big Wheel, Dodgems, and Big Apple.

Also making a guest appearance for the preview weekend will be the Jumpin’ Frogs ride which is a favourite amongst regular visitors

Matthew Taylor, managing director of M&D’s Theme Park, said: “We’ve been working round the clock during the closed season to refresh our theme park offering with a fantastic new ride and a new park layout.

“Our family visitors are in for a treat this year with new rides, events and activities planned for the season and we are confident we have all the ingredients for a great day out.”

In addition to the new ride, visitors can also expect a series of character visits and VIP lunches as well as a refreshed Amazonia, Scotland’s only indoor tropical rainforest.

Visitors to Amazonia will have the chance to spot its newest addition, Poppy the kinkajou, who was moved onto display in the nocturnal area earlier this year.

Families can also enjoy a variety of additional activities at M&D’s including glow-in-the-dark ten pin bowling at Cosmic Bowl, 18-hole mini adventure golf at Devil’s Island Golf, Krazy Congo soft play area, indoor amusement arcade Game Zone as well as several bars and restaurants such as the Family Restaurant, Guiseppe’s Coffee Shop and InsideOut Bar serving up delicious menus. A revamp of the food offering is also expected for 2017 so visitors should watch this space.

Ride all day wristbands are available to purchase for £9.95 per person from M&D’s website.
