New Management Team Appointed Centre Livingston

Land Securities has appointed two new faces to drive forward the success of its Scottish shopping destination The Centre.
A new management team has been put in place at the popular Livingston shopping centre - James Bailey will lead the team as centre director while David Gallagher takes up the role of manager.
James (34) has worked within the retail industry for 11 years and was heavily involved in the successful launch of Land Securities' Bristol shopping centre Cabot Circus. He has also held posts at thecentre:mk (Milton Keynes), The Bull Ring (Birmingham), High Cross (Leicester), Brent Cross (London), The Oracle (Reading) and West Quay. (Southampton).
In his new role as director of The Centre, James will develop a clear strategic direction for Livingston and build upon existing relationships with customers, retailers and external stakeholders.
James said: "This is a very exciting time to join The Centre which is set for further expansion, with the opening of a three-storey Primark store on the cards. It is a shopping centre with a superb reputation and I am delighted to be in a position to build on its success."
Meanwhile new centre manager David Gallagher (38) joins Land Securities after three years of managing Ayr Shopping Centre. He has worked within the retail sector for more than 20 years holding management positions with Euro Car Parks, The Noble Organisation and Showcase Cinemas.
In his new post David's primary role is ensuring that The Centre's daily operational activities are run to the highest of standards.
He said: "I look forward to building strong relationships with both customers and tenants and being instrumental in The Centre's continued success."
